Hearing impaired children
The main objectives of special education given at swardeep sansthan are the same as those of regular education: The optimal development of the individual as a skilful, free and purposefully person, able to plan and manage his own life, and to reach his highest potential as an individual. Since the goals of education are the same for both the normal and the disabled, it is generally agreed that if a handicapped child can manage successfully in an ordinary school he should go there.
Teaching the hearing impaired child to talk is indeed a great achievement and helping him speak appears to be one of the greatest challenges. But Special educators of swardeep sansthan are trying their level best to make these children to speak and they are getting results of their efforts.
This in itself is quite a complex and difficult task. It requires intelligent sustain efforts and dedication on part of the teachers and the staff of swardeep is doing their job with heartily dedication and love. Because We feel that without love, care sincerity and dedication we can’t get any output after doing a lot of efforts with disabled.
Swardeep Sansthan is an NGO working for the Disabled Children and very poor and lower class of the Community. Swardeep Sansthan Started School for Hearing Impaired Persons. Mrs Pratishtha Khandelwal And Archana Dadich who wanted Hearing Impaired children to learn how to speak without the use of sign language established Swardeep School for the Hearing Impaired in 2001. Swardeep Sansthan opened its doors to 2 profoundly Case deaf students. During that first year, they using spoken language to communicate to each other .In this school hearing impaired children are taught speech language with normal teaching Pattern and then integrated to Normal schools.
Swardeep School Also working for mentally retarded children’s. They are those who are mentally challenged and handicapped. Student assessments are implemented throughout the year to evaluate continued enrolment in this program.
We are doing all efforts with the disabled to join them to the mainstream without any help from any sector of the society. And we are looking for a positive support.
